Question by Fromor: Do you know of a german oil painting “liquid” that is very like turpentine, though much less toxic..?

and it is described as an oil, I heard it described as what sounded like “shellse oil” or “shells oil” I’m not sure of the spelling, it may be more like schells oil, it apparently works well when mixed with stand oil.
