@toddly2009 – Is it?…ohh my bad. Sure does sound like U2. I guess we could look it up if we had the name..Do you see the name anywhere on here or know it?
Awesome love the Tankers,but please with the music U2?..Alllll the music of the world and you pick the worst of them all practically. Every crappy song sounds the same.
@RShack12
As a captain I would make the same amount of money every year.I mean a captain of a big oil tanker in a greek flag ship.Its hard to start if you don’t have the money.If you study and be serius with classes and service you will suceed.
Wish you good luck and calm seas!
@RShack12 trouble is though all the right wing swivel eye loons in your country see any sort of benefit or subsidized schooling as communism, pity most of you are all too thick to see it.
@MrRokkafella Thank you. I will do my best! i have almost been killed at the sea before at a sail boat, i know how rough it is. But i will take the chance no matter what happends.
@easye1961 This is called public education my friend and it works good when politicians and their minions are not feed by public money, subject to bridery and overcosting public works in order to get a share!There are other issues too but
most start and end to and from politicians.
You don’t know the facts therefore you can’t judge objectively.
@1j1o1a1k1i1m it is unfortunately long proses to be an officer if you don’t go to school deadliest catch is way different than merchant marine you have better advantages with the oceans rather than alaska crab fishing .go to your nearest “ministry of transportation ” or equivalant in your country and apply for seaman book and start knocking those cargo ship companies but don’t you forget life at sea is very rough not only storms but heck alot of bullying too.
My dream is to work on a boat, but the school gives me a small..small chance to be a captain, i love the sea, i am watching deadliest catch every day, i want to use my live at the sea, i need help on how. Give me tips, thank you very much.
ust a random question here that maybe someone could answer… Why do you always see ships just waiting out at sea just outside the port? I was in Tarragona, Spain last month and the same 7 ships all waited out at sea for the whole week I was there, they didnt move. Just wondering why they do this? What are they waiting for? Thanks.

@flyer203 I wish the merchant marine academies in America were free. I’m paying close to $130,000 to do basically what you just said.

@flyer203 No wonder your country is about to default on loans. And everyone expects the govt to keep on going like that??
