Whether it be garbage like “straight bananas” or “bent cucumbers”, or metrication (which the UK committed to implement in the 19th century, and in the 1960s, long before joining the EU.).

Other bizarre lies included “circus acts could be banned for health and safetly reasons”, “EU to ban school crossing lollipops”, “EU to ban British cheeses”, “EU wants North Sea oil.”

Is there no end to crap people will believe or that the press will make up?

Made up stories are more interesting
and more attractive to the public
so I dont think the press is gonna stop anytime soon ^^
